We are incredibly proud to have been part of the team behind SUR, a luxury boutique residential building of 10 apartments at Kirra Beach. We were involved from the early planning stages through to building completion; our role centred on curating the interior finishes and colour palette, helping shape the project’s distinct style.

 

Perched high above Kirra’s shoreline, the two-level SUR Penthouse is an architectural statement that captures sweeping views from South Stradbroke Island to Rainbow Bay, with over 30 metres of north-facing beachfront. We were asked by our client to furnish the penthouse to prepare it for the real estate market, and although property styling isn’t a service we typically provide, we made a special exception for our valued client, and it was a lovely way for us to finish the project.

 

We styled the apartment with a palette drawn from its surroundings — blues and greens echoing the ocean and headlands — layered over the warm tones of beige and chocolate in the internal finishes. Furniture was chosen to complement the residence’s striking curves, taking scale and the surrounding luxe finishes into consideration.

 

It has been a privilege to contribute to this project alongside the talented team at Cru Collective and BDA Architecture, with photography beautifully captured by Mindi Cooke. Being involved in such a large project has been a true highlight in our portfolio.
